The documentary
The Case of the Three Sided Dream, directed by Adam Kahan, will be available for streaming and download on Vimeo on Demand from May 1, on iTunes from May 31 and on DVD later this Fall.
The film tells the story of the late multi-instrumentalist Rahsaan Roland Kirk, who is described in the film's synopsis as an artist who "went from blind infant, to child prodigy, to adult visionary, to political activist, and finally to paralyzed showman."
The Case of the Three Sided Dream, which marks the feature debut of director Adam Kahan
, premiered at the 2014 South By Southwest film festival and screened at several other film festivals around the world, earning a number of awards, including Best Documentary at the 2015 Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles as well as Best Documentary at the 2015 Soundtrack Cologne festival in Cologne, Germany.
