The Richmond Jazz Festival returns in the River City for the sixth year in a row. It will run from August 6-9 at a number of locations including Hardywood Brewery, The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, The Hippodrome Theatre and, of course, the massive and beautiful grounds at Maymont - a 100-acre Victorian country estate, that during the course of the festival will offer exclusive access to its exotic gardens and beautiful rolling hills.
This year, the festival promises an exciting four days of jazz paradise with a spectacle of world-renowned artists. Some of the acts featured in the program are David Sanborn, New Edition, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Macy Gray, Natalie Cole, The Spanish Harlem Orchestra and many more.
The highly anticipated Richmond Jazz festival is expected to draw over 10,000 festival-goers to RVA to watch artists perform on three different stages.
On top of the live performances, the Festival continues its tradition of featuring complementary wine tasting by Ste. Michelle Wine Estates as well as chef demonstrations, artist meet-and-greets, and over 30 food and merchandise vendors from across the region.
The Richmond Jazz Festival hence confirms its stance as one of the most anticipated and admired festivals in the East Coast as well as one of its premiere summer events, with a larger than ever instalment for 2015.
