The Carver Community Center in San Antonio, Texas will be presenting a number of jazz shows during its 2016-17 season.
Highlights include a performance by trumpeter Terence Blanchard and the E Collective on November 19; vocalist Dianne Reeves' Christmas show on December 9; singer songwriter Gregory Porter on January 27; and Afro-Cuban jazz artist Arturo O'Farrill on May 5.
In addition, jazz singer and composer Nnenna Freelon will present her show "The Clothesline Muse," which looks at the discussions that happen between generations, on March 4.
