Norah Jones has unveiled the video of "Carry On," the first single from her upcoming album Day Breaks. The song features Jones on vocals and piano.
Day Breaks, Jones' follow-up to her 2012 release Little Broken Hearts, will be released on Blue Note Records on October 7. It will feature contributions from a number of artists, including saxophonist Wayne Shorter, drummer Brian Blade and organist Dr. Lonnie Smith.
The 12 tracks on Day Breaks will include nine original compositions by Jones as well as interpretations of songs written by Horace Silver, Duke Ellington and Neil Young. In addition to the release of her new album, Jones will embark on a tour of North America and Europe this fall.
Earlier this year, the singer-songwriter became one of the few artists to play both the Newport Jazz Festival and the Newport Folk Festival.
