Alex Fisher is a saxophonist and composer based in Leeds, UK. Having begun performing on tenor sax in his early teens, with a foundation in jazz and the music of the Great American Songbook, Alex now enjoys performing and recording in his home city and around the UK, as a sideman with a diverse range of artists, and with groups under his own name. His debut recording as a leader, You Heard It Here First, will be released on November 20th, 2021, and features a host of Leeds & London-based musicians performing Alex’s original material.
