Chantal Chamberland

Wayfaring Stranger (evosound)

Jazz vocalist and guitarist Chantal Chamberland crafts her own rustic and rapturous rendition of this classic American folk & gospel song about journey, reflection, and closure. With her seasoned bluesy flair and swagger, Chantal creates an enigmatic atmosphere with unmistakable rawness and attitude. The song is guided by the sauntering sound of the brassy trombone and Chantal’s rich vocals, making it feel akin to “musical whiskey” – taking you on an aromatic and delicious journey of sounds. Chantal is known for her knockout performances, appearing at the Montreal International jazz festival to headlining gigs in Hong Kong to Cartagena.
