Boston-bred, singer/composer/producer/educator Cathy Segal-Garcia loved jazz since the age of 5 Surrounded by a musical family, she was thrust into many different musical experiences, which led her to the renowned Berklee College of Music for flute and Arranging & Composition, from 1972-1975 Ms Segal-Garcia has made 15 CDs under her own name, with various and legendary musicians She has composed over 50 songs, recorded and performed by herself and other vocal artists Cathy has been one of the main forces in building and connecting the L A jazz scene jazz community.
