Jen Allen is a pianist, composer, author and educator. She frequently
performs in New York, the Northeast US and in venues throughout the world, as the leader of her own groups or as a member of other creative music ensembles. “Sifting Grace” is a collection of meditations on loss, renewal, discovery, and the quest to know and be known. It reflects upon the experience of finding beauty in the commonplace, and the wonder of nature and interconnectedness of all life. The title, “Sifting Grace”, refers to the path of self-reflection and the effort to find what is truly essential.
