Quite Frankly | Introducing Sam Hirsh (Umadas Music)

Pianist, composer and educator Sam Hirsh was born in Kyoto, Japan. Sam grew up in Portland, Oregon, and moved to Los Angeles in 2009 to attend USC. Since then, he has become an active member of the LA jazz scene and is gaining recognition for his soulful, energetic sound. Sam has performed along the west coast, Taiwan, Bolivia and New York City and can be seen playing with the Bill Holman Big Band, Henry Franklin, Carl Saunders, Gilbert Castellanos and Roy McCurdy to name a few. He leads the Sam Hirsh Trio/ Quartet featuring original compositions and arrangements.
