The album name says it all: recorded with one mic over two weekends in 2020 For this release of all original, instrumental music, the musicians gathered around just one stereo ribbon microphone in drummer Eric Hastings’ studio, The Grapevine: no headphones, no overdubs, and “mixing” themselves as they recorded. The sessions were captured on DSD (Direct Stream Digital), a high-resolution audiophile format with a presence and depth that gives the listener a feeling of being in the room
