The personal and musical relationship of John and Kelly Fumo began over 29 years ago. The trumpeter, who gained fame in the jazz world for his work with some of the top avant-garde jazz players of Southern California and who has been a busy studio and session player for decades, and the versatile singer, have proven to be a perfect match. They formed FUMOSONIC for their joint projects which, prior to Grape, included their recordings Different Place In Time, Is That Is/Is That All, and Love Is Everything.
