Adrianne Duncan is a Los Angeles-based pianist, singer and composer. She draws upon her background in classical music and jazz to create her rich sonic palettes, while lyrically being informed by such songwriter-poets as Joni Mitchell. The daughter of classical guitarist Charles Duncan, she attended Northwestern University on a music scholarship and has toured with such notable groups as Grammy-nominated Lado B Brazilian Project. She can be heard on numerous recordings, including The Jazz Chamber with Bennie Maupin, and has performed at such LA venues as Blue Whale, Catalina Jazz Club, REDCAT at Disney Hall and the Skirball Cultural Center.
