At the age of 14 Max had a near death experience. 7 blood transfusions from 7 strangers saved him, changed his personality and turned him into a jazz musician. He gave a TED talk about it. Max is the 2019 Downbeat Magazine Outstanding Student Jazz Piano Performance winner. He has won many awards and played hundreds of venues from arenas to private parties.
