Now in its 37th year, the new music combo Headless slices across genres and pursues better living through eclecticism. The core group–Joe Woodard, Dick Dunlap, Tom Lackner, and Chris Symer–is the center of an expanding storm of ideas in progress and guests, including David Binney, Tom Buckner, Julie Christensen, Glen Philips, Nate Birkey and many others. To date, the albumography, on Household Ink Records: Headless Household (1987; vinyl), Inside/Outside USA (1993), ITEMS (1995), Free Associations (1999), mockhausen (2000), post-Polka (2003), Blur Joan (2005), and Basemento (2010), Balladismo (2015), ????? tba (2020).
