
The Litchfield Jazz Festival will take place in Goshen, Connecticut on August 6-7.
The festival will open with bassist Mario Pavone, performing alongside tenor saxophonist Tony Malaby and a quartet led by baritone saxophonist Andrew Hadro. Other headliners include saxophonists Jimmy Greene and NEA Jazz Master Jimmy Heath.
On August 7, vocalist Nicole Zuraitis will take to the stage with guitarist Dave Stryker. On the same day, Darryl Jones will be the youngest headliner to ever play at the Litchfield Jazz Festival, performing alongside pianist Orrin Evans.
In addition to live music, the festival will host clinics and artist lectures as part of its annual “Artist Talks” series.
