A rare opportunity to see an artist of this stature in such an intimate venue! Seating is limited.

Jazz Coterie live music concert series presents Veronica Swift celebrating the release of her new, self-titled album.

From the Hollywood Bowl to Gibson Music Hall. From Ella Fitzgerald to Queen . . . Janis Joplin to Peggy Lee. Veronica Swift is breaking genre barriers and bending musical boundaries.

The 2015 Thelonious Monk Competition put Veronica Swift on the map, contributing to her landing a weekly residency at the historic jazz venue Birdland. It was there she captured the attention of jazz icons Chris Botti and Wynton Marsalis who featured her on their tours throughout the following years as Veronica also toured with her own band and prepared for her first featured recording sessions.

Ms. Swift is a Mack Avenue recording artist whose debut album Confessions was released in 2019 to great critical acclaim. Her second release, This Bitter Earth (2021), earned her a five-star review from DownBeat magazine and the front cover story of their November 2021 issue. Veronica also received the 2021 “Best Vocal Album” of the year award from L’academie du Jazz, and voted “Best New Artist” and “Best Vocal Album” by JazzTimes Readers’ Poll.

After having made her mark on the international jazz scene as one of the star vocalists of her era, Veronica Swift shows that she’s more than a jazz singer — exploring French and Italian opera, European classical music, bossa nova, blues, industrial rock, funk, and vaudeville. She pulls the feat off with astounding results. Swift’s expansive artistic voice remains firmly intact regardless of genre. Swift describes this personal artistic statement on her new album as “transgenre.”
