Charlie Hunter to embark on U.K. tour this November


Guitarist Charlie Hunter will embark on his first tour of the U.K. in eight years this November. The tour will open at Ronnie Scott’s in London on November 18, where Hunter and his band will perform four shows over the course of two nights, and will conclude at La Belle Angele in Edinburgh.

 

Hunter will be accompanied by drummer Bobby Previte, trumpeter Yelfris Valdes and trombonist Kieran McLeod as well as a UK horn section yet to be confirmed.

 

The tour comes in conjunction with the release of his new album Everybody Has a Plan Until They Get Punched in the Mouth. The album was released on the GroundUp label on July 22.
