Brubeck Festival line-up announced

The University of the Pacific has announced the line-up for its 2016 Brubeck Festival. The festival celebrates the life and musical legacy of Pacific alumnus, pianist and composer Dave Brubeck and will take place in Stockton, California on October 14-15.

This year, the festival will feature performances by singer Carmen Bradford, saxophonist Everette Herp, the University of the Pacific Jazz Ensemble and the Dan Brubeck Quartet led by Dave Brubeck’s son.

In addition, the University will partner with Stockton’s Haggin Museum and The Brubeck Institute to present a three-month exhibit on Brubeck’s life called “Dave Brubeck: Jazz Ambassador.” The exhibit will be on display at the Haggin Museum from October 6 to January 8.
