Al Jarreau dies, aged 76

Jazz vocalist Al Jarreau died in a hospital in Los Angeles, California on February 12. He was 76.

A post on his Twitter account reads: “It is with the deepest of sadness to inform you Al Jarreau passed away this morning, at about 6:00am LA time.”

The seven-time Grammy-winning singer had officially announced his retirement from touring due to exhaustion a few days prior.
