2017 Whitney Biennial exhibition to feature Kamasi Washington

The Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City, New York, has announced the full line-up of artists for its 2017 Whitney Biennial exhibition, which will run in the museum from March 17 to June 11, 2017.

The line-up will include saxophonist and composer Kamasi Washington as well as the art collective GCC, which includes artist, musician and composer Fatima Al Qadiri.

During the course of the Whitney Biennial exhibition, two main galleries of the Whitney Museum will be filled with works from 63 participating artists. These include works in the artistic fields of music, painting, sculpture, film and video, photography, performance and more.
