2017 Saint-Émilion Jazz Festival program unveiled

The Saint-Émilion Jazz Festival has announced the program of its fifth edition, which will take place in southwestern France from July 22-24.

Composer and bass player Marcus Miller will open the festival at Parc Guadet. Other artists scheduled to perform throughout the festival are saxophonist Stefano di Battista, pianist Jean-Pierre Como and vocalists Walter Ricci and Hugh Coltman. Trumpeter Stéphane Belmondo will be performing his album Love of Chet, a tribute to Chet Baker, live with his trio at an event hosted by Château Cheval Blanc.

Dominique Renard, president of the Saint-Émilion Jazz Festival, said “We are thrilled to be unveiling our program for the 5th Saint-Émilion Jazz Festival this year. It is truly wonderful to see the thousands flock to the region to enjoy the perfect blend of Saint-Émilion wines from our estate with some of the finest jazz musicians from the region and beyond.”
