Jazz great Pat Metheny (pictured above) will join a team of such guitar legends as Larry Carlton and Alex De Grassi for eight days of small-group workshops and public performances in the quaint lakeside village of Bigfork, Montana, from August 29 to September 5.
The first ever “Crown of the Continent Guitar Workshop” will celebrate all genres of the guitar — from jazz, blues and rock to acoustic and classical. The event is designed for all individuals with a passion for playing the guitar, from highly accomplished to beginner. A creation of the non-profit Crown of the Continent Guitar Foundation, the activities will take place at a rustic lodge surrounded by the natural splendors of the snowcapped Rocky Mountains, Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake.
