Our July 1990 Bill Cosby cover was photographed by American Photographer Eddie Adams (1933-2004), best known for his Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph of a South Vietnamese police chief executing a Vietcong prisoner on the streets of Saigon in 1968. For that Issue, Cosby wrote a beautiful tribute to Sarah Vaughan, who had died recently. The JAZZIZ cover, by the way, is still featured on a Cosby fan site almost twenty years later.
