The first annual Asian-American Jazz Festival is set to unfold over three days in Los Angeles. Headliners include pianist Hiromi, Filipina singer Charmaine Clamor, Korean jazz quintet Prelude, and the champion of the 2006 London International Vocal Jazz Competition, Filipino Mon David. Those performers will be complemented by an eclectic line-up of Asian-American acts during a multi-cultural celebration that will begin at the Café Metropol on October 30 and conclude with a concert at the Japanese American National Museum in downtown Los Angeles on November 1.
